Four Star Rating. GlasSpan is really quite different than Ribbond and Connect. Its ropes are more applicable to groove-like preparations and reinforced composite posts, since they can be pre-injected with flowable composite. Its tape is thinner than the other materials, which makes it a good choice for thin wings in composite resin-bonded bridges and, since it does not require cold plasma treatment, contamination is less an issue.

I have been a practicing periodontist since 1974. Many of my patients with advanced periodontal disease have required some type of semi-permanent stabilization, most techniques being quite invasive.
