GlasSpan® Composites & Fiber-Reinforcement Systems
GlasSpan® Inc. SpectraFlow™
A visable light-cured, highly viscous, flowable, fine particle nano-microhybrid
composite resin. It is based on BIS-GMA resin formulation with inorganic filler particles of less than 0.6 microns.
The small filler particle size gives the polishability of a microfill. SpectraFlow™ is less likely to chip or
fracture and has better strength and fracture values than the conventional microfills. It is radiopaque, abrasion resistant
and contains floride. Like SpectraFill™, SpectraFlow™ also exhibits superior flourescence for a life-like appearance.
It can be polished to a high gloss and yields an excellent match to natural teeth. The manufacturer only sells direct to
the clinician, thereby providing these products at the lowest possible price. Composite restoratives of this quality are often seen at two to
three times the cost of the GlasSpan® composite line.
